First of the month.
Outside, the streets are tainted with a few things.
Embarrassment, for any drunken plunders from the night before.Or joy, from knowing everything went how it should have the night before.
For me it is joy.
I'm sitting in my bed with my cat next to me licking out the last of the cream from a steamed pudding i had and i review in my mind how last night went.
Could i tick all the boxes for a good night? Yes. I woke up next to my girlfriend, Kirsty, which has to be one of the greatest feelings possible.
Everyone is out so my house is completely silent. The only thing i can hear is the clicking of the keys as i type. I'm warm and totally satisfied.
I know I'm going to feel even better after finishing this as I know this will always be here for me when ever things get shite. I can read this and remember the moment.
I'm going to watch a film.
